Formed as the "New Jill Flava" trio Total, the vocalists Kima, Pam, and Keisha came together under Sean "Puffy" Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment imprint. They first gained notice by supporting the Notorious B.I.G. on the hits "One More Chance" and "Juicy," then quickly secured their own success with the single "Can't You See," which appeared on the New Jersey Drive film soundtrack. Their self-titled debut LP arrived in 1996 and yielded the hits "No One Else," "Kissin' You," and "Do You Think About Us?" The single "Trippin'" arrived ahead of the group's second album, 1998's Kima, Keisha & Pam. They appeared on Tony Touch's "I Wonder Why (He's the Greatest DJ)" in 2000 and teamed with reggae artist Mad Lion for his 2002 single "Give It to Me." The group stayed quiet until reuniting in 2015 to tour the U.S. as R. Kelly's opening act.
