Biography
Drawing from an eclectic range of inspirations such as Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Chevelle, the Canadian-American progressive metal and alt-rock trio Hundred Suns, hailed as superstars, formed in 2011. The group assembled around Norma Jean vocalist Cory Brandan, Every Time I Die drummer Ryan Leger, and Dead & Divine guitarist/vocalist Chris LeMasters. In 2016 the band entered the studio with producer/engineer Sam Guaiana of Like Pacific, vocal engineer/producer Jeremy S.H. Griffith of Norma Jean and Underoath, and producer/mixer Beau Burchell, also the Saosin guitarist known for his work with Blaqk Audio and the Bronx, to record their debut album. Released the next year on New Damage Records, Prestaliis featured the singles "Last Apology" and "Amaranthine."
