Biography
Hundred Year Storm, a Christian ensemble delivering epic emo-rock, features vocalist and guitarist Bill McCharen alongside guitarist and vocalist David Kiesel, drummer Brandon Johnson, and bassist Shane Fling. The group came together during summer 2003 within Austin, Texas. While echoes of the popular Christian outfit Switchfoot may arise, this quartet infuses an ethereal ambiance paired with insightful audio excerpts drawn from figures including Martin Luther King, Jr. Their initial self-titled EP emerged during November 2004, with the subsequent full-length album Hello from the Children of Planet Earth arriving in August 2006 via the Floodgate/East West imprint.
