Biography
In 2008 the Kleinert brothers Julian and Timm joined forces with Feras Kaddoura and Leonard Müller-Klönne to launch the German alt-rock outfit I Am Jerry. Hailing from Sprockhövel, the quartet spent the next several years refining a hybrid style that fused anthemic rock, hip-hop beats, electronic indie textures, and further ingredients. Their visibility across Germany rose sharply in 2011 after they claimed victory at the well-known Rock am Ring festival. Warner Music Germany signed the band in 2014 and issued its debut album Habicht two years later.
