Infinity Song

The family act Infinity Song fuses elements of traditional folk, gentle rock, and soul music to create their distinctive form of sophisticated independent pop. Having originated in Detroit, the ensemble gained initial notice upon relocating to New York City, where they issued recordings such as Mad Love in 2021 along with Metamorphosis Complete in 2024. Infinity Song consists of the Boyd siblings Abraham, Angel, Israel, and Momo, all hailing from Detroit. Growing up mostly educated at home within a household steeped in music as offspring of John Boyd, who established the Boys & Girls Choirs of Detroit, the siblings began creating music early on while absorbing sounds from classical, gospel, and jazz genres. The year 2006 saw the family relocate to New York City, enabling ongoing performances that included street singing in locations such as Central Park, Times Square, and Grand Central Station. Their initial album Infinity's Song appeared in 2015, presenting their takes on various folk, gospel, and pop classics. Rapper Jay-Z eventually discovered them, leading to a signing with his Roc Nation record label and the issuance of their first entirely original album Mad Love in 2020. Returning in 2024, Infinity Song put out their third studio album Metamorphosis Complete, which included the single "Hater's Anthem" drawing from rustic 1960s pop styles.
