Jamie Scott

Born in February 1982, Jamie Scott, also known as J.S. Baylin, served as the '70s-, soul-, and singer/songwriter-influenced frontman for Jamie Scott & the Town. He initially sought only a publishing agreement for his songwriting, yet his work so struck Sony that the company extended a recording contract in 2002. Plans called for the label to issue his first album, Searching, Pt. 1, in 2005, yet the project was placed on indefinite hold after the Sony-BMG merger created corporate upheaval. Scott and his band finally delivered a complete studio album, Park Bench Theories, in 2007.
