Jeans

Formed in 1995, the Mexican teen pop sensation Jeans issued their self-titled debut album the next year, introducing the foursome’s earliest successes with “Pepe,” “Me Pongo Mis Jeans,” and “Talvez.” That year the female act also received a Heraldo award as Revelation of the Year. Once Porque Disimular appeared, Paty (born Patricia Sirvent Barton), Karla (born Karla Haideé Díaz-Leal Arrequín), Angie (born María de los Angeles Taddei Cella), and Regina (born Regina Murguía Payes) began extensive touring across Mexico. Their popularity was further cemented in 1999 by //:tr3s.jeans.
