Biography
Originating from Germany's Ruhr region as a goth industrial act, Jesus on Extasy formed in Bochum, North Rhine-Westphalia, during 2005. Cousins Dorian Deveraux on vocals and Chai Deveraux on guitar launched the project, later joined by Alicia Vayne on guitar, Ophelia Dax handling synthesizer, and drummer BJ. Their initial recording came in 2007 via the independently issued, self-produced EP Assassinate Me, which secured a contract with the German imprint Drakkar Entertainment. That label then put out the band's albums Holy Beauty in 2007 and Beloved Enemy in 2008. Jesus on Extasy have since performed across Europe at gatherings such as M'era Luna, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, and Summer Breeze Open Air.
