Biography
Having started out in television advertisements, the performer later celebrated as NBC's Blossom heartthrob earned an early break by singing "Give My Regards to Broadway" on The Tonight Show at age five. Nell Carter spotted the youngster and cast him in her NBC sitcom Gimme A Break. Born in 1976 and raised in a Philadelphia suburb, he absorbed the sounds of the city's signature soul music.
