Emerging via the melodic alt-rap cut "Kehlani," Belfast rapper and singer Jordan Adetunji ranks among the city's brightest young prospects, weaving threads from disparate genres into his signature alternative rap sound. Both the original and its 2024 remix featuring Kehlani appeared on the 2025 full-length A Jaguar's Dream.
Based in Belfast, Adetunji tested multiple styles throughout his early teens, balancing trumpet lessons at school with a growing urge to rap that prompted him to upload recordings for online friends. His initial studio output reflected that range, opening with the 2020 Afrobeats single "Close 2 U" before quickly venturing into alternative rock on "Wokeup!," U.K. drill via "Around," and melodic trap with "Angel" and "Riot."
