Biography
New York native Jorge Luis, born to parents from Puerto Rico, launched his trajectory as a singer and songwriter by joining the Harlem Boys Choir. Immersed in Latin rhythms and especially Salsa, he soon turned to writing and orchestrating his own material. An introduction to Jellybean Benítez led the artist to sign with H.O.L.A. (Home of Latin Artists), which put out the 1998 album Ayer.
