Biography
Distinct from the Houston indie-pop ensemble sharing a comparable name, the drum'n'bliss endeavor known as Junior Varsity km served as the creative outlet for electronic musician Kenric McDowell, who was based in San Francisco. His initial EP, Style for Life, appeared via the regional imprint Darla Records during 1997, after which he issued both You're Fabulous and Taking Care of You the next year, with the latter forming part of that label's continuing "Bliss Out" collection. In 1999 came the two-volume release Teledesic Disco.
