Biography
Hailing from the artistically vibrant Chilean port city of Valparaiso, where she was born to Chilean parents, K-Bust displayed creative promise at an early age. Icons including David Bowie, Madonna, Depeche Mode, Shirley Manson, and Lady Gaga shaped her artistic direction, prompting her to study classical piano before expanding into the roles of lyricist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and performer.
In pursuit of worldwide reach, she achieved fluency in English, Spanish, and French. Relocating to Montreal allowed her to integrate into the city’s music community, where she appeared at numerous live events and festivals alongside a wide array of pop performers.
Extensive touring has taken her through South and North America; the most recent outing, the “Fearless 2020” tour, brought performances to Skully’s in Columbus, Ohio, and the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, California, while earlier appearances included Canadian Music Week in Toronto. She is now finalizing her third studio album, REBIRTH, for which she served as writer, producer, and mixing engineer.
