Louane

Born Anne Peichert, the sandy-voiced French singer and actress who records as Louane Emera and performs simply as Louane first drew widespread notice as a participant on the second season of France’s The Voice in 2013. Although she failed to reach the finals, that exposure earned her a part in the 2014 film The Bélier Family, in which she sang several numbers, among them Michel Legrand’s “Je Vole.” Her performance brought her the César Award for Most Promising Actress. During the same year she issued her debut single “Jour 1,” which entered the French Top Ten, while “Je Vole” rose to number two; she also lent her voice to the covers compilations We Love Disney, Vol. 2 and La Bande à Renaud, Vol. 2. Her first album, Chambre 12, followed in 2015, topping the French album chart and appearing on the Belgian and Swiss listings as well.
