Kara Marni

Kara Marni emerged from London fusing soul and pop while placing her commanding voice at the center of her sound. From her 2017 arrival onward, persistent effort produced three EPs, among them the 2021 set State of Mine.

Raised in North London by a vocal Greek household, she grew up certain that singing would define her path. Early lessons in performance led her to the BRIT School, where she absorbed the workings of the music business and mapped her own route forward. Her initial 2017 singles, among them “Golden” and “No Ordinary Love,” introduced the same soul-and-pop blend that would mark her catalog. By 2020 she had issued the EPs Love Just Ain’t a Thing and No Logic, both of which gathered earlier tracks. The following year opened with the standalone releases “Trippin” and “Twisted Fantasy,” which she later bundled with additional songs to form her third EP, State of Mine.
