Hailing from Seattle, Kyle Cease launched his standup career as an irreverent and quirky comedian by headlining clubs at age 18, which placed him among the youngest headliners across the country. Appearances before classmates that began at seven supplied early confidence, yet it was his incisive and occasionally eccentric material together with an animated stage presence that persuaded club owners to book such a youthful headliner. National tours commenced by the time he turned 21, the same year he took on his first screen role as Bogey Lowenstein in the hit film 10 Things I Hate About You. That movie’s success prompted a relocation to Los Angeles, where he diligently worked the local standup circuit and drew the notice of Comedy Central. Following his part in the 2001 release Not Another Teen Movie, he made his network debut on the standup showcase Premium Blend. His own hour arrived in 2006 with Comedy Central Presents: Kyle Cease, accompanied by the debut album One Dimple issued on Comedy Central Records. Both a subsequent special and its matching album arrived in 2012 under the title I Highly Recommend This.
