Biography
A mainstay of the West Coast garage punk scene, Lars Finberg first earned notice through his tenure in the Intelligence as well as earlier turns in the A Frames, the Oh Sees, Wounded Lion, and the party rock band Puberty. Close to two decades of ensemble work preceded his debut solo release in 2017. The eclectic Moonlight Over Bakersfield drew on an array of his longtime associates and fellow musicians, among them Mikal Cronin, players from La Luz, Big Business, and Melvins, and producer/engineer Ty Segall.
