Biography
With a smoky vocal timbre, Lauren Pritchard crafts songs that lean into blue-eyed soul alongside confessional pop tinged with country elements. Having entered the world in Tennessee, she headed to Los Angeles during her early teenage years, where she secured the part of Ilse for the off-Broadway staging of Spring Awakening. Her subsequent move to England led to a deal with Universal/Island Records. The first album from Pritchard, titled Wasted in Jackson, arrived as a digital release in October 2010, with a physical CD version planned for February 2011.
