London-born in 1991, Leah Weller surfaced as a genre-bending pop artist whose work extends her family's storied musical heritage through a fusion of neo-soul, jazz, and contemporary R&B. Her introduction to the public arrived in 2022 via the solo debut Freedom.

She is the daughter of legendary singer/songwriter Paul Weller of the Jam and the Style Council, and of vocalist Dee C. Lee, formerly of Wham! and the Style Council. Around age 12 she took up guitar after receiving one as a birthday gift.

Songwriting had already sparked her interest, yet she first explored modeling and DJing, working with houses such as Vivienne Westwood, Boucheron, and Tag Heuer. During those years she continued sharpening her musical voice, contributing backing vocals to several of her father's recordings and co-writing his 2021 single "Shades of Blue."

October 2022 brought the release of her debut solo album Freedom, which she produced and recorded with Steve Craddock.
