Liv Dawson

Born and raised in Shepperton, West London, Liv Dawson began singing during childhood and, with encouragement from her family, started writing original songs at the age of 13 under the influence of Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse, and Beyoncé. Her first release arrived in 2016 as the intimate single "Tapestry." Method Records signed her that year and issued the single "Still." She next released the EP Open Your Eyes, merging Disclosure's electronic sound with her classic-sounding vocals. Throughout 2016 she kept writing and producing, collaborating with SG Lewis and Jimmy Napes. Early the following year she issued two further singles, "Searching" and "Somewhere Good."
