Biography
Under the moniker LoveLeo, Los Angeles-based multimedia artist Leo Reilly produces buoyant bedroom pop marked by its catchy hooks, while complementing the sound with striking visuals through his own inventive clips and clothing designs. Early 2020 brought him notice via the release of his track “Boyfren.”
Raised in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains just beyond Los Angeles, Leo is the child of actor John C. Reilly and producer Allison Dickey. Prior to entering music, he built a substantial social-media presence on Instagram and TikTok while working as a model and fashion designer. In the late 2010s he began cutting eccentric, self-made pop tunes on his laptop at home; 2020 saw the arrival of his first single, “Boyfren,” issued through Republic Records’ Godmode label. The track quickly accumulated millions of streams, prompting an immediate follow-up titled “Rosie.”
