Biography
In spring 1994, singer/guitarist Deuce Gibb, bassist Mike Mead, and drummer Chad Matson launched the retro-rockabilly outfit the Martini Brothers from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Their first single, “Up All Night,” appeared the next year, and the full-length Portable followed in 1997. That October, however, Matson died from a drug overdose; although Gibb and Mead initially planned to end the Martini Brothers, they later revived the band by adding Rej Troup on drums.
