Biography
German techno/dance producer, remixer, and solo artist Richard Bartz launched his career during the mid- to late '90s. Alongside releases of his own trance-like material—1996's Escape and 1998's Sci-Fi—he collaborated with Acid Scout, Abe Duque, Richard Hinge, Lester Jones, Chris Korda, Mark EG, and Christian Weber, among others. He also contributed the track "B1" to DJ Hell's 1996 release X-Mix Vol 5: Wildstyle, an album that combined techno mixes with disturbing graphics. Performing under the alias "Acid Scout," Bartz issued a pair of albums including 1996's Musik for Millionen and 1998's Safari.
