Biography
Magic Affair came together in 1994 under the direction of Mike Staab, the former DJ and producer from Mysterious Art, with singer Franca Morgano and rapper A.K. Swift rounding out the initial lineup. The club/dance-oriented group released the singles "Omen III" and "In the Middle of the Night" before completing work on their debut album. In 1995 the original members gave way to singers Jannet De Lara and Anita Davis, whose arrival was marked by "The Rhythm Makes You Wanna Dance," followed by Phenomenia, co-produced by Cyborg, and a cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" for Queen Dance Traxx 1. Rapper Raz-Ma-Taz joined the project in 1997.
