Biography
Emerging from Caringbah, New South Wales, Mark Vincent came into the world on September 4, 1993, and at age fifteen secured his breakthrough by taking first place on the April 22, 2009 finale of Australia’s Got Talent. The Australian tenor, whose classical training aligned him with crossover opera, drew early motivation from Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti. Shortly after his victory, Sony Music extended a recording contract, and within months he released his debut full-length album, My Dream -- Mio Visione. The project combined classical crossover selections—among them “Nessun Dorma,” which he had delivered memorably on the talent-show finale, and “Time to Say Goodbye”—with pop standards such as “My Way” and “Unchained Melody.” My Dream -- Mio Visione achieved immediate commercial success, climbing to number two on the Australian albums chart.
