Biography
After industrial giants KMFDM dissolved in 1999, Sascha Konietzko and Tim Skold launched a fresh endeavor they named MDFMK, bringing in Lucia Cifarelli—once a member of Drill—as the project's female vocalist. Spring 2000 saw the release of the band's self-titled debut, which steered away from the dance-club emphasis that had marked KMFDM's later output and instead revived a harder, guitar-driven direction while incorporating a strong noise-rock influence.
