MILO J

Milo J serves as the stage name for Camilo Joaquín Villarruel, the rapper from Argentina. He entered the world in Morón, a suburb outside Buenos Aires, during 2006 and first joined freestyle contests while still in his early teens. His initial ties were to the BajoWest Collective, yet by 2021 he had begun posting original tracks across social platforms, landing his breakthrough viral success with “Milagrosa” in August 2022. The momentum that followed proved explosive: within little more than twelve months he had secured features alongside veterans including Nicki Nicole and Duki while issuing multiple singles and the trap-tinged debut EP 511. Echoing the path taken by numerous figures in Argentine urbano, his gateway to global attention arrived in October 2023 via an invitation from the prolific Bizarrap, who placed Milo J on Music Sessions #57 and co-produced the joint EP En Dormir Sin Madrid. Scarcely thirty days afterward came the full-length album 111, boasting appearances by Peso Pluma, Yami Sadfie, Yahritza y su Esencia, and Nicki Nicole. Its follow-up, 166, arrived swiftly in July 2024.
