Biography
Providence, Rhode Island's post-hardcore quintet Monty Are I, formerly known as Monty's Fan Club and Monty, weave brass instrumentation into their sound and feature Steve Aiello on vocals and guitar, Mike Matarese on bass, Andrew Borstein on keyboard and trombone, along with identical twins Justin Muir on drums and Ryan Muir on vocals, guitar, and trumpet. The band has joined tours with My Chemical Romance, Story of the Year, Yellowcard, and Taking Back Sunday while also appearing on three Vans Warped Tours. After issuing several self-released demos and EPs, their first full-length album, Wall of People, came out in August 2006 via Stolen Transmission Records, an imprint of Island.
