Mos Generator

Distinguishing Mos Generator from Nick Oliveri's separate endeavor known as Mondo Generator, this power trio hails from Silverdale, Washington, and focuses on resurrecting the classic rock aesthetic of the 1970s. The group, formed by veterans of the Northwest music scene, includes Tony Reed handling vocals, guitar, and Wurlitzer with prior experience in Treepeople, alongside bassist Scooter Haslip formerly of Voodoo Gearshift and drummer Shawn Johnson who previously played with Mind Funk. Emerging around 2002, the band issued a self-titled debut before delivering the apocalyptic concept album Late Great Planet Earth in 2005, followed by The Vault Sessions in 2006 and a split record alongside the lumberjack rockers the Hitch. In 2007, Small Stone put out their next full-length effort, Songs for Future Gods.
