Narum

Emerging from Oppland, Norway, Narum formed as a roots music trio in 2006. Its lineup consists of Søsknene Benedikte on vocals and guitar, Jon Anders on guitar, and Lars Christian on piano. The members list Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, and Neil Young among their key influences. After securing a contract with Warner Music, the group issued its major-label debut single, "Je Veit Et Stelle," in early 2009. Strong listener response to that track cleared the path for the summer arrival of the trio’s first full-length album, Samma Hen Du Fær, which entered the Top Five on the Norwegian albums chart.
