Nico & Vinz

Originating from Oslo, Norway, the pop duo Nico & Vinz brings together musicians Nico Sereba and Vincent Dery. Operating as Envy from 2010 through 2012, they issued the album The Magic Soup & the Bittersweet Faces, which entered VG-lista, Norway’s official albums chart. Following their 2013 name change, the pair delivered the uplifting single “Am I Wrong,” which climbed to number two in Norway and reached the Top Five on official charts in multiple additional countries. Later that year the duo released the dramatic ballad “In Your Arms” to build on the momentum of their multi-platinum hit. They next completed work on the album Black Star Elephant, which arrived in October 2014. A packed 2015 schedule included performances at the ESSENCE Festival in New Orleans and UNICEF’s Snowflake Ball, plus a Best New Artist victory at the Soul Train Awards and the placement of a track in EA’s FIFA 15 video game. Amid these commitments they also recorded and, late in the year, issued the Cornerstone EP. The duo resurfaced in 2017 with the single “Intrigued.”
