Biography
Spending a decade together in the skatepunk outfit Hogans Heroes, Skip School (vocals), D-Troit (drums), the King (bass), and Johnny Miami (guitar) eventually split and regrouped as OS101 (Old School 101) in late 1995. This fresh venture sought to achieve "keeping the true spirit of hardcore alive" via "championing the ideals of family, loyalty, respect, and hard work." Resurrection Records therefore put forth the self-titled debut EP from these Island Heights, NJ natives during 1997. In 1998, their next full-length effort, The United Brotherhood of Scenesters, appeared courtesy of Victory Records.
