Biography
Wes Steed and Jeannette Faith drew on jazz, classical, and electronic sources when they abandoned their earlier work—Steed in the garage band the Gamma Rays and Faith as a pianist—to establish the synthesizer-driven duo Park Avenue Music. That foundation yields a fresh take on indie pop, showcased in the group’s first release, To Take With You, which appeared in March 2002. The pair shapes downtempo electronic pop with instruments that include the Micromoog and Roland keyboards.
