Biography
Pedro Abrunhosa, Portugal's lyricist and upright bass player, partnered with Spanish composer Enrique X. Macias on some of the country's most endearing tunes. Born in Portugal, Abrunhosa first attended the School of Ruvina Music at age 12. Seeking deeper musical training, he relocated in 1976 to the prestigious School of Portuguese Music, where he worked with professors Alvaro Salazar and Jorge Peixinho.
