Biography
Formed in the Netherlands, Pep & Rash unite Jesse van de Ketterij and Rachid El Uarichi in an EDM and progressive house project. Their luminous, forward-driving club cuts fuse syncopated U.K. garage rhythms with robust bass drops and surprising sample choices while paying tribute to enduring pop craftsmanship. The pair, who hail from Zeeland, launched their production work in 2013 and issued independent singles and remixes until signing to Spinnin' Records in 2014. The 2015 release "Rumors" climbed into the Top 20 on the singles charts in both the U.K. and Belgium. That same year brought a collaboration with Sander Van Doorn on "White Rabbit," constructed around a sample of the Jefferson Airplane classic, plus the track "Sugar" with Shermanology. Another Belgian success arrived in 2016 with "Love the One You're With," built on a sample of the Stephen Stills hit.
