Biography
Emerging from Boston, the Radio Kings functioned as a traditional blues duo whose sound carried an uncanny resemblance to the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Vocalist and harpist Brian Templeton joined forces with guitarist Michael Dinallo to form the group in 1991. Their first recording arrived in 1994 on the Icehouse label with It Ain't Easy, an album that demonstrated their deep regard for the raw approach of Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, and Slim Harpo. Live at B.B. King's appeared the next year, and the duo issued Money Road in 1998.
