Biography
Among various unnamed ventures tied to the secretive Berlin dub-techno duo Moritz Von Oswald and Mark Ernestus, Rhythm & Sound issued a run of 10" records on Burial Mix and 12" records on the Rhythm & Sound label, with both imprints handled through Hardwax distribution. These Rhythm & Sound releases by Von Oswald and Ernestus draw far more heavily from dub while shifting away from techno, setting them apart from the pair's earlier and more iconic dub-techno catalog as Basic Channel along with Von Oswald's solo Maurizio work.
