RIVRS, the refined electro-pop duo hailing from London, unites Charlotte Mallory with Finn Munro. Their partnership in music began during 2013, shaped by synth-pop stalwarts including Depeche Mode and newer acts such as Purity Ring and the xx. Initial notice arrived via a cover of En Vogue's "Don't Let Go" paired with the Lobo-assisted "Close to You," both surfacing near the close of 2014. Kitsune issued the official debut single "Last Love," which also landed on the label's New Faces, Vol. 2 compilation the following year. Mark Ralph of Years & Years contributed to sessions for the debut album, after which "Friend Lover" emerged on Vroom Vroom Records, Charli XCX's experimental pop label, during the first half of 2016. Two further singles, "Falling" and "Something About You," preceded the August 2016 release of the Falling EP.
