Biography
Sam Cardon, a composer known for his atmospheric instrumentals featured in various films, stands out particularly for his contributions to television movies including Whales along with Enchanted Castle at Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California, Treasure of the Gods at Zion National Park, Utah, and The Secret of San Francisco at Pier 39. Recognized as a multi-Emmy award winner, he issued multiple albums during the 1990s and maintained visibility into the new millennium. Among his releases are Serious Leisure from 1991, Impulse in 1992, and Innovators dating to 1995. Cardon has additionally composed and produced themes for ABC Sunday Night at the Movies and Good Morning America while crafting the signature music for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary.
