Biography
Cuban singer-songwriter Santiago Feliú first engaged with the Nueva Trova movement in 1978 by appearing at assorted festivals and events where he performed original material. He embarked on a 1985 tour across Latin America and Spain, serving as the opening act for Silvio Rodríguez. His debut studio album, Vida, arrived in 1986; the following year he issued the live recording Trovadores at Buenos Aires’ Palladium, sharing the bill with Argentinian Juan Carlos Baglietto, Fito Páez, and León Gieco. In 1994 a comparable live session took place in La Habana, yielding the album Náuseas De Fin De Siglo.
