Belgian duo Shameboy emerged in 2004, shaped by the electronica legacy of the Chemical Brothers and Kraftwerk. The lineup paired Luuk Cox, drummer for Buscemi and producer for Arsenal, with Jimmy Dewit, performing as DJ Bobby of Discobar Galaxie. Their breakthrough arrived a year later when the single “Rechoque” commanded the Flemish dance charts for ten weeks; the pair followed with the 2006 debut album Hi Lo And In Between and built a live reputation through appearances at Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, and Lowlands. After Heartcore in 2008 and 808 State Of Mind in 2010, Dewit exited and was succeeded by Dominik Friede.
