Biography
Producer and DJ Theo Keating works under the electro-house alias Fake Blood while also recording as Touché, serving as one half of Wall of Sound’s big beat duo the Wiseguys, and forming half of Southern Fried’s the Black Ghosts. Only in 2009 did Keating disclose that he had created the slightly nutty 2008 debut single “Mars,” which appeared on Hervé’s Cheap Thrills label. A series of further 12" EPs surfaced on Cheap Thrills and on the PIAS subsidiary Different through 2012, resulting in the hefty yet buoyant album Cells. Keating assembled the 69th volume of the Fabriclive series, released in May 2013.
