Star Slinger

Manchester-based DJ and producer Darren Williams, performing under the name Star Slinger, issued his first project in 2010 with the soul-infused dance album Volume 1. The next year brought two EPs, Rogue Cho Pa and Teams vs. Star Slinger, while he simultaneously concentrated on remix assignments for the Avalanches, Toro y Moi, Buraka Som Sistema, Childish Gambino, Washed Out, and Gold Panda. At the start of 2012 Spin named him among its Top New Artists, the same period in which he delivered the EP Chain Dumbin'.
