Already presenting Bartók compositions on stage at two years old, she commenced making recordings for ABC Radio by the age of three. Enrolled at six in the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, she joined an orchestra for a performance at eight. The 1991 ABC Symphony Australia Young Performers Awards went to her, and she earned additional prizes in competitions across the U.K., Italy, and Greece. A Freedman Foundation Fellowship from the Music Council of Australia followed in 2003. International tours have taken Cislowska across multiple continents, where she has appeared as soloist with the Philharmonia Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Romanian Philharmonic Orchestra, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and further ensembles. In chamber settings she helped establish both the Mozart Piano Quartet and the Australian String Quartet while collaborating with Amelia Farrugia, Kenneth Tarver, Sharon Bezaly, Elena Kats-Chernin, the Acacia Quartet, and the Danish String Quartet; she also recorded alongside Australian multi-instrumentalist Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu. Her discography appears on the labels ABC Classics, Chandos, Naxos, Tall Poppies, Artworks, and MDG.
