Biography
Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank, longtime friends and established figures in R&B, came together as the group TGT back in 2007. Before committing to the project officially, they joined forces on a remix of Tank's "Please Don't Go" and lent their voices to Slim Thug's "Let Me Grind." Only in 2012 did the trio formalize the arrangement by signing with Atlantic. Vowing to deliver unadulterated, grown-up R&B, they introduced themselves with the ballad "Sex Never Felt Better" in February 2013. Their debut album, Three Kings, followed that August, its songs written collectively by the three members with further input from Harvey Mason, Jr., Damon Thomas, Brandon Hodge, Lonny Bereal, and others.
