The Dirt Drifters

Formed by seasoned Nashville players who relocated from Oklahoma, New Jersey, Louisiana, and Tennessee to settle in Music City, the Dirt Drifters refined their funky honky tonk approach across endless live shows, growing an audience the traditional route through steady appearances in small clubs and bars. The lineup includes Matt Fleener on lead vocals and guitar, Ryan Fleener handling vocals and guitar, Jeff Middleton on guitar and vocals, Jeremy Little on bass, and Nick Diamond on drums. Pulling from a broad range of sounds that stretch across country and rock into funk and R&B, the musicians combined those elements into a gritty roadhouse approach. The Dirt Drifters secured a contract with Warner Bros. Records and worked in the studio alongside producer Justin Niebank on their first album. This Is My Blood appeared in mid-summer 2011.
