Biography
Florida singer/songwriter Chris Carrabba stepped away from his longtime emo project Dashboard Confessional to reconnect with the acoustic traditions that first shaped his sound, launching the four-piece outfit Twin Forks at the start of 2013. Joined by mandolinist Suzie Zeldin, bassist Jonathan Clark, and drummer Ben Homola, he guided the band toward the raw yet energetic folk revival, adding his own signature touch to the approach championed by Mumford & Sons and the Lumineers. Shaped by the country, folk, and roots music of his childhood, Carrabba refined his fingerstyle guitar method across several years and featured it on multiple tracks from Twin Forks’ self-titled debut EP, issued by Dine Alone Records in late 2013. The band’s self-titled full-length album followed in February 2014.
