Twitch

Formed in Detroit in 1990, the trio Twitch fused jazz, rock, funk, and punk into an unpredictable sound in which instruments like duck calls and slide whistles fit naturally alongside the rest. Guitarist and singer Rob Bullock joined forces with bassist, singer, and horn player Tim Taebel and drummer and vocalist Scott Lemenski to launch the group. Static Records issued their album At Last in 2000. The label followed with the 2002 sampler Long Ride on a Short Bus, a final collection of their recordings that preceded the band’s dissolution.
