DROELOE

In 2016 the Dutch electronic duo Droeloe stepped onto the scene, merging a luminous and rhythm-heavy future bass approach with a pronounced commitment to visual design. The project unites producer Vincent Rooijers and visual designer Hein Hamers; their material soon drew the notice of fellow Dutch artist San Holo, who placed them on his Bitbird imprint and introduced them through the singles “Make My Day” and “zZz.” Throughout the ensuing twelve months the pair maintained a consistent output of remixes and original tracks, among them joint releases with Belle Doron on “In Time,” San Holo on “Lines of the Broken,” and Nevve on “Jump.” Their EP A Moment in Time appeared in 2017 and was succeeded by the standalone cuts “Kintsugi” and “Running Away.” During 2018 the duo continued releasing new material at a brisk pace, issuing “Backbone” alongside Nevve, “Many Words,” and “Facing the Sea” featuring Sem.
