Anguished, tormented, and searching, 93FEETOFSMOKE crafts emotionally turbulent trap pop. Early recordings under the moniker relied on dense, bass-heavy textures, yet later material shifted toward melody while retaining explorations of addiction, heartbreak, and severe depression, most notably on the 2022 album GOODGRIEF.

Born Marciel Bauer in 2001, the artist spent his formative years in Richmond, Virginia. His initial releases under the 93FEETOFSMOKE name surfaced in 2016, presenting a raw, screamy, emo-infused approach to the troubled rap/pop style then associated with Juice WRLD and Lil Peep. A steady stream of singles, EPs, and mixtapes followed, culminating in the full-length project SOFUBI in 2020. By that point, several angsty tracks had already drawn attention, and further visibility arrived via the 2020 collaboration “Pumpkins Scream in the Dead of Night” alongside Shinigami and Savage Ga$p—a track that would accumulate tens of millions of streams.
